Simplified, it means: ‘awareness of what’s happening in our body’. 

When you reach to open a window because you're too hot - that is interoception.

The same body signals that tell you you’re cold and need a cardigan also tell you:

I’m Charlotte, somatic therapist and founder of The Embodied Mother - a therapeutic journey for mothers ready to shift from emotional depletion to a deeply rooted sense of self.

My work blends nervous system education, trauma-informed somatic therapy, and 10 years lived experience to support women in finding their way back to their felt, intuitive knowing - even in the busyness of motherhood.
