Witnessed Storytelling

Every other Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Online.

1hr 15 mins.

Upcoming 2026 Sessions: 04.03, 18.03, 01.04, 15.04

When was the last time someone truly listened to you?

Not waiting for their turn to speak. Not offering advice or trying to fix it. Not comparing your experience to theirs.

Just... listening. Holding space. Witnessing you.

If you can't remember, you're not alone.

As mothers, we're so used to being the ones who listen - to our children's questions, our partner's day, everyone else's needs. Our own stories, our own experiences, often stay locked inside because there's simply no space to share them.

And here's what happens when stories stay unspoken: they lose their power. They sit inside you, tinged with shame or sadness or confusion, and you can't quite access the wisdom they hold.

Because the wisdom of your story only fully reveals itself when it's spoken aloud and witnessed by others.

What is Witnessed Storytelling?

This is a gathering where mothers come to share, listen, and be seen with love and understanding.

You might share:

  • The moment you realised motherhood was going to change your whole life

  • The grief of your own childhood that's surfacing now

  • The joy of watching your child discover something new

  • The loneliness you feel even when surrounded by people

  • The anger you've been taught to suppress

  • The fear that you're doing it all wrong

  • Your birth story

Whatever it is, it doesn't need to be polished or profound.

This session is for you if:

✨ You're uninspired of surface-level conversations about the weather and weekend plans when what you really want is honest, vulnerable connection.

✨ You feel a little lonely in your mothering - like you're the "different one" who questions things, feels things deeply, or simply doesn't fit the mold.

✨ You have stories sitting inside you that need to be spoken, witnessed, and held by others who get it.

✨ You want to practice holding space for other mothers - to see them, love them, nurture them - and in doing so, discover how to offer this to yourself.

Some mothers come and share for the first time something they've never said aloud. Some mothers come and simply listen, finding themselves in someone else's story. Some mothers discover that they're not alone in feelings they thought only they carried.

The power isn't in what happens next - it's in the act of being fully seen and accepted for who you are in this moment.
